One news that got every Malaysians talking

Yeap you're right...it's been going on since 5 plus yesterday and it's still gonna go on for sometime. It's no other than the news of the recent petrol price hike. I myself got into that craze for that short moment...which I didn't went to pump my petrol also in the end coz of the ridiculous waiting for the cars to fill up...it's only that few days before you need to pump in with the new price anyway. It's just that RM10-RM15 lost for me...some up to RM30? or higher?
And it was announcement like those that created a massive jam everywhere yesterday...especially areas where there is a petrol station. Didn't help much that it was raining too. Can you believe it that at 11.45pm, ppl are still queueing for the hopes of getting their tank full??I would already give up and head home to sleep...which I did just that!

Queueing...

I was chatting with my forumer friends about the price hike earlier yesterday. Everyone was speculating how much the increase would be. Nevertheless, need to thank everyone for the SMS-es for informing me of the price hike. So...with the rebate of RM625, it would cover probably half a year for my car fuel consumption (calculating with the current RM2.70 per litre price). But be reminded that this is only temporary, embrace yourself for another fuel pricing the next month and the month after. The nightmare has just begun... hmm..I wonder if I'd see the same thing happening the end of this month...

Anyway...it's the government's call and we can't do much about it for now. So let's hope that things don't turn that bad. Everyone foresees a rise in everything ... what I pity now are those people at the lower income range..it's already hard to make ends meet, and now with this hike. I just hope the money that the government "saved" from this move would be put to good use.

So until we see some bizzarre changes ..let's just get ourselves ready for the expensive things to come. Enjoy your last bit of RM1.92 per litre petrol to those who did manage to get your fuel tank filled before 12am. And to those that don't..it doesn't really matter, they need to fill up with that RM2.70 per litre petrol anyway...! ;)

Anyway no big deal la...just another 2.70 wat...another 20cent increase in teh tarik...ha ha ha... ok sensitive comment... scrape the affirmative action policy and we will be better off...i mean the whole country. We produce and sell...key word we SELL our oil...so how in gods name are we hit by the global flactuation.... we should be making better returns for the crap that we buy back after we sell our pure resources. The questions is where is the supposedly subsidice money is going after this... ha ha ha....goverment say it will be used to lower rice price...ha ha ha. The goverment have not learnt thier lesson yet...they still think the citizens of malaysia is still stupid. Hope that more BN parliamentarians will join PKR, at least we will know wheather Anwar is honest enough to be a leader... as he has promised to reduce the petrol price ONCE he can form the goverment.... I don;t care whose the bloody goverment is as along as I as a citezen am happy....please mind my spelling as I got directional and spelling issues!!!! ha ha ha .....by the way...very cute blog.... like the writer :-)

wow..thanks for the comment ;) .. and yea,RM2.70,it's not much. It's RM80 for my small car to be filled up, so what? life is back to normal.. the difference is things are more expensive now.. you can't complaint, coz ppl would use the petrol reason to answer back. inflation rate will rise sumore...salaries don't seem to be rising anytime soon. SO, yea, 78 cents hike, what the heck..i love MALAYSIA! **sarcasm still intact**
