Jusco Bukit Tinggi

The long awaited new attraction and talk of the town is finally here~!!

Got this from wikipedia, my goodness, look at the crowd~!!!

Look at the parking lots~! 5000 and I heard it was fully occupied on the day of opening.

He didn't capture the picture of the slow moving cars that had jammed up the whole Banting road trying to turn into this building. But anyway, it's a breath of fresh air for the residents of Klang I might say. Shops here are the ones I've been travelling far for. Starbucks is now 10 minutes from home. TGV is also near although not opened yet. Didn't sign up for the fitness centre, coz I heard there's another one coming nearer at the BBTOne Walk area. Some restaurants look inviting, so am gonna try them out one day. Frankly, will get bored of it after a while :P It felt like there's a lot of choices coz it's new. Once it's there for a year or two, ppl will start to get bored of it...I hope not.

I was there again on Sunday. Fell in love with bread from a bakery called Lavender. Thought of going there for another round after Saturday's first try on it...which I did...should get the bread once they are freshly taken out from their oven. Found something bad about JJ already. The lower ground area where they have cooked food was all smoky(refer to first pic above). Something with their ventilators...they seriously need to fix that. Well, the first 2 days, can't expect much from the restaurants. All the waiters/workers are a bit slow considering it's their first time...so that will take a longer period to monitor. Still waiting for Dragon-i to open.

So that's about all for this new landmark in town. Gonna make more visits there soon enough :D

25th birthday celebration...

A bit late on the update... been too busy to even check on other things.

Post-birthday
Group 4: My unimates. Thanks for the movie session YK~! Although not really a good choice of movie la, if you're just too bored and have nothing to do, maybe you can consider watching 30 days of night. That is..IF YOU HAVE TOTALLY NOTHING TO DO (**sleep is still a better thing to do). Nice time spent with you guys. Had a great laugh at Madam Kwan's.

Group 5: CY, Bee, SF... been ages since I saw you guys. Thank you soo much for remembering and the cake and the present... was very surprised. Thanks to HJ for showing me the road ...can't believe I can still get lost around Taipan after being there so many times :P

Group 6: Melissa and Sam. Thanks for spending time with me. Dinner + HALO cafe. Haven't been there for quite sometime myself. Had an enjoyable session. :D

Group 7: Nyuet and Dhass...although it was a week later, but THANKS girls for making the effort. Dinner at Ole-ole Bali was awesome~! I'm still waiting for pics from Nyuet.

Well...besides all the celebrations/dinner/yumcha sesions, there's still all those that remembered and sent their greetings through SMS/mail/PM/phone calls...Thank you so much!~! Getting older, getting more speechless... I wish you all the best with whatever you are pursuing and hope to see you all soon. Thank you all..this is another memorable year. :)

Some old updates

Birthday updates aside, will do that when I have the time next week. Let's just update a bit on other stuff since the last time I blogged.

The few unlucky and moody weeks before birthday. ONE, I had a minor accident the past 3 weeks actually. Driving too fast and near to the vehicle in front at the SMART tag toll plaza. It wasn't even my fault that the barrier came down on my car. The tag for the front car wasn't scanned properly, and mine was the next one...barrier came down on my car instead. Banged on to it and scratched my windscreen a bit. Too shocked to think of what to do next...so I continued my way to work. Probably too into thinking about that, then came incident number TWO,which is I slipped and fell. Landed on my knee on one side. Thank goodness wasn't on a tar road or anything, but it was on Sunway college campus grounds. In one way I should be thankful that the 2 incidents wasn't that serious. The first, it was indeed a minor accident, no major dents or anyone getting hurt. For the second incident, well, besides falling right in front of my colleague, no one else saw it...I think! So embarassment level didn't really escalate till that high after all. Anyway..of course there's lessons to be learnt frm here: Phobia at the toll plazas already, am keeping my distance of at least 5m! And when you're carrying a laptop, don't walk too fast with your sandals, you might not get to control your balance when you slip. Sometimes I do wonder why something bad needs to happen first before it becomes a lesson learnt? hmmm...

Then after that the past few weeks is when we have Murphy's Law over-applied at work. Seriously..didn't have a good start with our new project, still trying to get things sorted out.. up till now. Hope that gets resolved soon...

Headache already, will continue with the updates in the next blog...
