Broken In~!

Police report:

"Pada 18/03/08, jam lebih kurang 1430 hrs ketika saya pulang ke rumah dapati pintu hadapan rumah saya telah terbuka dan telah diumpil. Setelah masuk ke dalam rumah dapati barang-brang di dalamnya berselerak. Saya syaki rumah saya telah dimasuki pencuri. ...."

Ok..so the story, should the same as the ones some of you already heard. But let's do it all over again to tell everyone about it. So this is what happened ( abit of harp-enhanced music at the background ... )

On Tuesday, when I was out for lunch, phone rang. My aunt told me that my house was broken in. Shocked as I was that time, I sweared the four-letter word quite loud in the mall. Didn't know what to respond then. Got myself home, then saw what damaged was done. The ride home felt like thousands of kilometres...got back, realised my front gate was still lock. Turns out the thieves climbed over and spoilt a bit of the shade in front of the house. Broken my front grill lock.

Can't see it that clear, but the cut off the "ear" of the grill to get in.

And then started searching for stuff. What I can see when I got back was the back door and back gate were opened. So they came in front, escape from back. They must've done that first. And I suspect it's 2 people at least. One to search for keys to the back and one to start searching, considering there's very short time for them. So what I saw was all the drawers opened. My room was the worst hit, coz has the most stuff. But they should be quite fast when they do it coz besides my desk drawers and cupboard, other places looked untouched.

Colleagues came back with me, helped me to get a new lock and all..this is what I'm keeping my house locked with:

Thanks to everyone that has helped me with the whole bizzare breaking-in thing. In the messy conditions, I actually thot my bank saving books are missing, so I went to all the trouble to get them replaced only to find them back when I started clearing up some stuff. Went to the police about evening when it started to pour. The whole police thing from reporting till them coming in to my house to snap some pics took about a couple of hours. Police was asking me who do I suspect? I said no one. I guess they've been watching for quite sometime before they took action. They also realised that my neighbour is always there, so they needed a quick search before my neighbour gets back I guess. Anyhow, from what my neighbour said it was a Wira. And a day after my house got broken in, another one nearby also got broken in with the same method. Might be related, but residents of Taman Klang Jaya, Taman Sri Andalas, Taman Desawan, please look out for Black Wira with a group of Indian men. If you suspect anything, please dial 999 to inform the police.

With all the mess, what was lost was only a few hundred bucks from my angpows! But I also believed that they took my old spoilt nokia 8210 too...I don't keep expensive stuff at home. The most valuable should be the electrical appliances at home which is already old and going to spoil dy. SO, if u're a thief reading this, please, this house is not worth you breaking in anymore. Please proceed next door~!
